Martyn was recently at the UKCSA (United Kingdom Cast Stone Association) AGM and Awards Ceremony, presenting awards for ‘Excellence in the Use of Cast Stone’ in the UK.
The winning design (as chosen by industry professionals) was The Royal Pavilion at Poundbury, which used an amazing 10,000 individual pieces of cast stone, weighing in at a total of over 10,000 tonnes.
Martyn is seen here, in his capacity as President of The Concrete Society, presenting the award to Haddonstone Limited who provided the cast stone for the project.
